General Mills's Recall for E-Coli
Recently, General Mills expanded recalls of its flour product for containing Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) O26, STEC O121, or STEC O26. A complete list of the recalled products can be found here.
Generally, when a person is exposed to E-Coli, he/she will become ill in 1 to 3 days. Exposure can be from direct contact with the contaminated product or via secondary contact with a person who has contracted E-Coli. Symptoms of E-Coli infection can range from normal diarrhea to hemolytic uremic syndrome, a type of kidney failure. Frozen Vegetable Recall for Deadly Bacteria Listeria
